Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Tests are available for detection of virus by Real-Time RT-PCR and detection of antibodies post infection using FDA approved assay.
